My 2013 year end picture. I just find this really cute and I have to have this posted.

I look pretty in pink. I don’t care if you will agree with me. I am p-r-e-t-t-y….blehhhhhh

Aside from the cabinet that I got as a Christmas present to myself. I also got myself some of the things below. Others were gift but most of them were purchased by yours truly for my room.

This year, I will focus more on my room. I will try not to buy dresses or accessories.

My first curtain purchased at Gaisano Mall:

I like the curtain’s detailing a lot. The ribbon that I put here was purchased separately and I got that at Gaisano South for less than 50 pesos.  The curtain is at 420 pesos each and I have to have 2 curtains for my window. Isn’t this super cute???

Something that I got at Mepz bazaar and I got this at 180 pesos. I felt in love with it the moment I laid my eyes on it. I just felt like it will look perfect in my room.

Yes they are mini books or booklets? I don’t know how you call it but these are wonderful books. Self help books that are just very easy to read. I lab it!

Image

It took a little convincing from Sheryl before I agreed to just purchase a book for the 500 pesos that we had. It was all worth it. I like that this is a hard bound book and that its below 100 pesos. I think I had this for 75 pesos. Perfect!

Something that I got also at Mepz Bazaar. Seaman paid for this. Wahahahaha. Another of his many gifts for me. Don’t you love it? I do.

Ate Bilyn’s Christmas gift for mehh…. A jewelry gift set. Yay….. She is just awesome. She knows exactly what to give me.

This year I will try to splurge myself with something that will benefit me. Probably before this year ends, I will get myself my dream bed. I already have my dresser as my early birthday gift for me but blogging that will have to wait….

Go, go , go 2014.

GP Restaurant

Posted: January 5, 2014 in Restaurants

While dinning at Lai Garden yesterday, I remembered that I haven’t blog about our GP dinner at Pacific Mall last month. This is a very late blog already.

I just couldn’t help it. There is no way for me to blog on time. My computer at home totally sucks. I can no longer blog in our office. Almost all my posts are late.

By the way, all photos here are from Sheryl’s blog. I was not able to bring a cam that time and Sheryl is always with her Tab, so she took the photos for us.

We dine at GP restaurant last month. We originally planned to just have hotdogs and ice cream like we usually do. I remember that I was not in a good shape that time. I was very depressed that I even warned Sheryl that I might cry that night, I didn’t. Sheryl is a very good companion. She listens well and sometimes I thought she could be a counselor. She’s good at listening.

I am lucky to have this friend. When I am sad, she could have dinner with me. Spend time with me and sometimes spend her own money just to give time to listen to all my nonsense. I sometimes wonder when will she ever grow tired of me. LOL

To feed a really sad soul, Sheryl and I tried this restaurant. A fusion of Singaporean and Filipino cuisine at Pacific mall in Mandaue.

Here’s what its like:

I liked the restaurant at the very first glance. It is clean and the waitresses were very attentive.

Here’s what satisfied our stomach:

I had roasted chicken. I forgot what Sheryl ordered but it was also at 99 pesos.

I remember though that her meal is better than mine.

It a 25-peso icecream, Sheryl and I were all smiles.

This restaurant is so worth it. You get what you paid for.

Here’s the two of us:

2013-7

2013-8

Lab it!

After buying myself a minnie mouse stuff toy. Sheryl and I went straight to Gaisano South to check her newest favorite store, Kenko World, if I remember it right. She was able to buy herself a really cute mirror and she was all smiles.

After widow shopping, we dined at Lai Garden. It was my second at that restaurant and Sheryl’s first at Gaisano South branch however her third at a Lai Garden restaurant.

She told me SM Branch is way sophisticated compared to the Gaisano branch that looks a lot like an ordinary fast food restaurant. Her statement makes me wanna try SM branch but I don’t really go to SM so I might as well forget that.

Actually there is no name from outside or even inside the restaurant. It took Sheryl by  surprised that its one of Lai Garden’s branch. Good thing is that they have a 49-peso meal. Something that we both can afford.

Here is what I got.

Breaded pork at 49 pesos plus 10 pesos for the iced tea

Sheryl had sisig with egg at 49 pesos plus 10 pesos for the iced tea

Luckily, I was able to bring rabita with me. So, she modeled for us. Isn’t she a darling?

It was the menu that says 49 pesos that caught our eyes.

Lai Garden from outside. What’s the Mang Inasal signage doing there?

I’d love to go back here. Had we ordered the 2- piece chicken at 99 pesos than we could have the unlimited rice. 🙂

Christmas Haul 2013

Posted: January 2, 2014 in T-T-Thing Things

I got myself a very expensive gift this 2013 Christmas. No, its not a gadget. Gadgets would be the last on my list.

I bought myself a cabinet that cost me 9k. It’s not very expensive for a pure wooden cabinet, I know. But I do think it’s all worth it.

Image

Image

I bought this in a small store near E-mall. This was originally priced 11k

Image

These are all my whole dresses. I didn’t realize until now that I got at least 52 of them. LOL. Addict much? I had them color coordinated if you haven’t noticed.

Image

On the upper part I put all my pants, then all my blouses, and lastly my sleeveless. I tried to have them color coordinated. I’ve done a great job so far. 🙂

Image

These are all my shorts. Again color coordinated

Image

My skirts. Not all but most of it. I have more skirts than shorts. Once in my life I go gaga over skirts. Had I not given some of it, I’ll have this corner overstuffed.

Image

This is the last drawer. I put all my swimsuits here. I counted it and I have like 11 swimwear. LOL.

The first drawer has all my bras and the second drawer all my panties. hehehehehe

This is my first major purchase for my room. I still plan to have a dresser and a super nice bed. All should be pure wood.

I am happy for this Christmas gift. I just did’t get this, I worked really hard for this and I gave this a lot of thought before I had it purchased.

Dinner at Tongro

Posted: January 1, 2014 in Restaurants

This is a very very late post. I had dinner at Tongro last October before Geraldine left the company. I almost forgot to actually blog about this.

From outside, you can hardly see that there is actually a restaurant in this area. This is a Korean restaurant in Pusok, Lapu-Lapu City. It  was I who convinced Kim and the rest of my office mates to try it here. The place doesn’t look fancy and I even thought that a 500 peso budget is enough. I was dead wrong. We spent almost 2k here.

Image

The place isn’t that big. It doesn’t look very intimidating to an adventurous person like me.

Image

They have free candies here. They have a note that you can get only 1. I got around 6 pieces. The heck I care.

Image

We were 5 and we tried all these. It was my idea that there should be no two same order.

Jumuluck.

Samgyeopsal and Kalmaegisal

Moksal and Hangieonsal

Soup. I forgot what kind of soup but I didn’t forget that this tasted bad

Jumuluck is the only thing that I like in here. The rest of food is forgettable. I could go back here but only if it is free. I wouldn’t want to spend this much for this kind of food alone. For the vegetable lovers, don’t you even dare!!!

For the people who are adventurous, you will love it here. Just make sure that you are not starving to death before arriving because cooking will take some time.

In the final analysis, I conclude that I hate Korean foods. 🙂
